Lead Developer - Dynamics

As a Lead Developer for the Dynamics business, you will be providing technical expertise to B-EYE’s global customers and contributing to a wide range of ERP projects on the Microsoft Dynamics platform. Taking on a senior role, you are expected to represent the global ERP team within and outside B-EYE, drive global projects from a technical perspective, and use your expertise to develop and propose value-adding solutions to our customers.


You will be engaged in both the project and on-going support areas of the business – from being a key Subject Matter Expert (SME) during the implementation phase, through to go-live, and towards post-implementation support. As part of a high-performing team in Manila, you will be expected to work closely with B-EYE colleagues in other parts of the world, and to be a primary driver in solutions design and development on an on-going basis.

  • Advising information technology strategies, policies and procedures by evaluating organizational outcomes, identify problems, evaluating trends and anticipating requirements

  • Accomplishing complete configurations and innovative system designs for Dynamics applications

  • Actively participating in Dynamics system design sessions, configurations, user acceptance testing efforts, and go-live efforts

  • Understanding and executing application lifecycle management best practices for promoting customizations & configuration updates in Dynamics applications

  • Modifying existing programs, conducting code-review, and writing new programs conforming to Dynamics best practices and standards

  • Writing code to integrate Dynamics with other systems and understanding the surrounding technology stack to enable most efficient set-ups for customers

  • Assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Dynamics and related software applications

  • Providing and/or overseeing the creation of detailed technical documentation in relation to implementations and on-going support (technical specifications documents, customizations / enhancements, release management, change management, etc.)

  • Escalation point for troubleshooting and fixing system defects and performance issues within Dynamics applications

  • Together with the Senior Functional Consultant:

    • Conducting demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (POCs) to secure new customers or new business from existing customers

    • Providing estimates for change requests / projects for both implementations and support engagements

  • Delivering effective presentations and conducting productive meetings with all levels of resources – internal or external – involved in the project

  • Providing support and advice to non-technical users

  • Mentoring of other Dynamics consultants

  • Working closely with the ERP Principal to:

    • Drive the direction of team upskilling (tech & dev) and continuous refinement of the team’s implementation & support standards and tools

    • Drive the roadmap for both customers (projects & support) and the ERP team

  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain a solid working relationship for both the ERP team and


  • Experience leading complex and large-scale Dynamics projects and support engagements, include cross platform integrations

  • Strong ERP industry and Dynamics product knowledge (AX and D365 Finance & Operations) across key business areas and industries

  • Experience and knowledge about Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS)

  • Expertise with Relational Database Management Systems, specifically Microsoft SQL Server

  • Knowledge on both on-premise and cloud deployments and migrations

  • Excellent analytical problem solving and decision-making skills within functional and technical areas with keen focus on root cause analysis, problem prevention and system stability

  • Proven experience in project management, systems design, and high-level consulting

  • Knowledge (theoretical and application) of Microsoft Sure Step Methodology

  • Certification in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 development or above is a plus

  • Excellent presentation, communication, leadership and client development skills to effectively present information to C-level management, public groups and/or board of directors

  • Effective communications, presentation, organizational and planning skills. Effective interpersonal skills to work as a both a leader and a team member

  • Ability to handle complex issues/engagements/projects, and knows when to include next levels of escalation

  • Possesses a high degree of personal initiative

  • Willing to work Central European hours (2 pm to 11 pm / 3 pm to 12 midnight) and open to shifting schedules

  • Able to work with a multi-cultural team across various time zones for global projects and support engagements
